Smart Tech Christmas Fayre for Bideford

Digital ND is pleased to be supporting this event at the Burton at Bideford on Saturday 7 December 12pm - 4pm.  It is free, so why not come along and check it out!

A Smarter Town

Bringing the community together to understand the concept of a Smart Town and capturing community desires for how tech could improve life within and the use for the town centre.

With a range of stands, presentations and interactive displays and demonstrations, bringing technologies such as VR, 3D printing and even Santa's Grotto run by a robot!

Come along to this free event to be part of the conversation and see how tech can be used for good to impact and support our work and home life.

In association with Torridge District Council, Plymouth University, Petroc, Catapult, The Burton, Bideford Town and more, you can expect to see a range of tech and an opportunity to share ideas and collaborate.  Make sure you get involved!

The aim - To involve people in digitally developing The Burton from lighting to interpretation. 

This mission - To add interactive systems to The Burton museum gallery to make the objects more engaging for our visitors. 

Equipment - Microcomputers like Raspberry Pi and Ardiuno and simple reliable electronics that work immediately from powering up. Multimedia inputs and outputs.
