Are you aged between 15 - 19 years old with an interest in VR design? Or are you 8 - 12 who could discover the magic of reading with Minecraft? Or maybe you could capture the interest of a young person you know to spark their engagement in tech? If so, then check out these workshops from Barnstaple Library throughout November.
Virtual Reality Co-Design Workshops
What is virtual reality and would you have a go if it was in your library?
Barnstaple Library want to work with you to design a new, exciting space to experience VR in your local Barnstaple library.
Join the Library and the team from Knowle West Media Centre factory for 2 workshops in Barnstaple Library's FabLab to explore what this could be! No prior knowledge of design or VR is needed.
Workshop 1 will focus on what VR is, getting hands on with the technology and thinking about what the space might look like.
Workshop 2 will encourage everyone to get creative and work with our team to make cardboard prototypes – imagination is your only limit!
To get the most out of the experience, we recommend coming to both workshops.
Refreshments will be provided. For Ages: 15 - 19.
